So pleased were Cornwall-based Forward ITC and UKNetWeb to achieve ISO9001, they held a presentation last month at UKNetWeb’s St.Agnes offices for specially invited like- minded businesses to hear about the difference it had made to their operations.
Rojer Isaacson, MD of Forward ITC was enthusiastic, “We both started the process mid last year and have seen the benefits that the ISO standard brings to our business model and processes.”
Toby Parkins, MD of UKNetWeb agreed, “ISO 9001 is about putting the customer at the centre of everything you do and committing to a set of standards that are universally adopted across your organisation. It has been absolutely invaluable to us in raising standards and improving business processes."
The presentation took place on the top floor suite of UKNetWeb offices, a grade 1 listed engine house, part of a former tin mine on top of the cliffs, overlooking the St.Agnes coastline.
Roger Preston, Cornwall Business Manager for International Management Systems Marketing (IMSM), also gave a short presentation, and together with Area Manager Roderick Hogarth, discussed the benefits of ISO standards informally with guests. Roger commented, “Of the people attending as guests, one company has already signed up for ISO9001 and another is going to a Board meeting for a decision this month.”
