That's why Fast Track Solutions called in IMSM to help them achieve International Quality Management Standard ISO9001, to act as a framework on which to support future growth.

 The Wiltshire-based company was set up 5 years ago to help other dynamic businesses find, win and retain more profitable customers. Managing Director Christine Martin is passionate about her business, which currently employs 10 staff.

"Relationships are vital in high value business-to-business sales, but many companies simply don't have the time or the systems to build and sustain those relationships. We offer a high calibre staff on demand, and at zero overhead to create and build relationships through regular, relevant, professional contact.   We often help clients from shaping strategy through to delivering results."

 Doing a good job is not enough for Fast Track - they wanted smart systems and processes, and the ability to prove to their customers that they could maintain a consistent quality of work. Christine Martin continues, "I knew we wanted a quality standard like ISO9001, but had prior experience of implementing a quality system in a larger organisation and had not enjoyed the interminable  dull paperwork at all.  IMSM's service took the pain out of the process. Their assessor was rigorous, but really helped us get to grips with the Standard. I was particularly pleased that we were able to integrate our own systems."

 When looking at the benefits, Christine is very clear. "For us, achieving ISO9001 through IMSM represented excellent value for money. They did exactly what they said they would do, with no fuss and no time-wasting. Through the Standard we now have a structure for our system and processes to help us grow, as well as a platform for continuing improvement. It fits neatly with our business plan. We can now tick more of the boxes when we move upstream, and tender for work from larger businesses and the public sector. Would I recommend IMSM? Definitely- I already have."
