Master Tools Ltd was formed in 1993 to manufacture
high precision, plastic injection mould tools and associated jigs
and fixtures. The company is based in Stockport, Greater Manchester
and delivers high quality products to a variety of business sectors
throughout the North West. The company offers a complete in-house
solution - everything from product design, prototyping and trialling
through to full production.
In November 2003, the company proved that speed
and efficiency can also go hand in hand when implementing a quality
management system. With IMSM's help, Master Tools obtained ISO 9000
certification in the record time of six months from start to finish.
Simon Oliver, Project Manager of Master Tools,
told us "The standards required for ISO 9000 are consistent with
the value criteria we employ at Master Tools. We enjoyed meeting
the challenge of achieving the accreditation in the short time span
and we benefited from superb support from IMSM".
