JUVET

JUVET is a 170 year old Switzerland watch brand founded by Mr Edouard Juvet. With the popularity of Switzerland JUVET’s “Big Eight Pieces” in China, JUVET began looking into ways to continue their success abroad and felt ISO certification would be the best route for them.

Before JUVET could open up their business to overseas customers, they knew they would need to improve their internal operations to cope with new demand. JUVET contacted IMSM to discuss implementing ISO 9001 – Quality Management System and ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System into their organisation.

Dr Lo Kin Fai Stanley, Managing Director said, “It is easier to introduce our company to new customers when we are using an ISO System such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 as these are well known in the market. We required this to be implemented within the business to ensure we are operating an efficient production line.”

With ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 firmly embedded into the business, JUVET are looking forward to seeing a reduction in production cost, whilst being able to fulfil new customer orders with better efficiency.

“Since gaining ISO certification, our product defect ratio has declined, our production cycle has increased due to better cost calculations.”

JUVET found the process to ISO certification, a smooth and well planned process. The journey to certification from start to finish took approximately 2-3 weeks to be completed. They are looking forward to the future and maintaining the high-quality standard JUVET stands for.
